Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another special bonus episode of Stand Up Comedy Host and MC. And this week, well, I'm waiting to hear any minute. Our good friend Bob Worley is on his big August family road trip, and we're getting tips about what it's like doing a family road trip. Uh oh wait, there's the phone. Hello? Hey Scott. Hey Bob, great to hear from you. Where are where are you at so far on your trip? Did you make it to Big Sur or the Grand Canyon? Fill us in, buddy. Well, Scott, unfortunately I'm standing in my driveway. What? You haven't left yet? I thought you were gonna get an early start.

SPEAKER_02 1:05

Yeah, well, remember that number one tip about packing up the night before? Yeah, well that that didn't go so well. Don't do that. Why? What happened? Some hooligan, Scott. They broke into my car and took everything. Everything except for my mixed CD. Ah, it's my favorite music too, and I have to say I'm a little offended by that part. Well, that's I'm so sorry to hear that, Bob.

Scott Edwards 1:26

Yeah, they even took my new tires. What? So what are you gonna do now? Cancel your trip?

SPEAKER_02 1:31

Oh no, Scott! No way, Jose. I'm still taking that trip. I will not be deterred. I just need to regroup and then hit the road while I still can.

Scott Edwards 1:40

Well, uh, okay, good luck, Bob. Well, can you keep us up to date? Sure thing, Scott. Onward! All right, well, ladies and gentlemen, uh, thanks. I'm sorry we didn't have much of an update. Oh, wait a minute. There's the phone again. Hello?

Hey Scott!

Scott Edwards 2:00

Bob, what what's happening? We just hung up.

SPEAKER_02 2:02

Yeah, I know. You're not gonna believe this. I just wanted to update you on my road trip plans.

Scott Edwards 2:06

Oh, all right. Last we heard, uh everything uh on your car, all your gear was stolen.

SPEAKER_02 2:12

Yeah, yeah, but I got really lucky. I found everything I needed at a yard sale just down the street. You know, if I didn't know any better, I think it was my own stuff. It was everything that I had packed. The kids, these kids, they said they found the stuff, and so you know what, I'm gonna give them a little reward. Heck, I'm even gonna pay them extra.

Scott Edwards 2:28

Uh well, I didn't think maybe these are the ones that broke into your car. Oh no, no, no. These are good kids.

SPEAKER_02 2:35

You know, I I got a good judge of character, Scott. And I know these kids. You know, we had a break in a few months back, and they had all their stuff at a yard cell there too. These kids, I don't know how they find this stuff. But anyways, I'm lucky to have such great neighbors.

Well, if you say so.

Oh, oh, on top of that, they told me they have a friend who happens to have the exact wheels and tires that I need for my bug.

Wow, now that is a coincidence.

SPEAKER_02 2:59

Looks like I'm back in business, Scott. I'm the luckiest guy I know. So you know what? I'm gonna get up early tomorrow, repack my car then, and then I'm gonna hit the road.

Scott Edwards 3:09

Well, then once again, uh good luck with all that. And how about I give you a call tomorrow and see if you made it? Oh yeah, I'm gonna make it, Scott. Don't worry about that. Onward. All right, well, ladies and gentlemen, uh, we didn't get a lot of information. I'm just glad that Bob was able to get his stuff back. But hey, stay tuned.
